Rand Hummel a counselor from the Wilds in North Carolina was our guest speaker at LCCA. He is well known for his messages dealing with the Internet; he has written a book titled The Dark Side of the Internet. Zanesville Christian School joined our school on a Monday to hear Mr. Hummel speak. His messages were on the dangers of the Internet, chat rooms, blogs, my space and text messaging. He left us with a challenge and gave many Biblical applications, using the Word of God to help us. Part of the days events included bowling, lunch together and games like The Cat in the Hat and tug of war. The students really enjoyed having him visit us and the messages were phenomenal.
